Vintage Industrial Appleton Searchlight | Tripod Floor Lamp
This big vintage industrial floor lamp is pretty amazing! A stunning addition to any space!
The Appleton searchlight reportedly served in its previous life at a Nebraska airport and was removed a number of years ago. Fantastic ribbed glass lens, 13" diameter. The aluminum light housing is approximately 18" deep. The light can be tilted and swivels easily as it sits on an old heavy-duty theodolite surveyor's tripod.
The light and tripod are in good vintage condition and both have a great patina. The tripod still has the original leather fastening strap. The light fixture has been rewired to take a standard 60W light bulb and usable in any residential or commercial space. Vintage look brown rayon covered wiring has been used to coincide with the look and feel of this piece.
